It has been reported that UK exclusive iPhone provider O2 has run completely out of iPhone models. This comes after Apple reportedly halted production of the 8GB model of the iPhone. Both the 8GB and the 16GB iPhone have also been scarce these past few weeks. Apple is replenishing its inventories but in irregular intervals. In a move rumoured to make way for the upcoming 3G models, Apple began last month to encourage their partners to discount their existing inventories of 8GB iPhones. So far T-Mobile Germany and the UK iPhone provider, O2 have cooperated. Orange, the French provider has balked at the recommendation of a discount.
