The iPhone 3G allows third-party programs suited to a user’s musical tastes and this has been good for Pandora - internet radio service, which has experienced a great increase in number of users thanks to the iPhone. According to founder Tim Westergren, Pandora has gone from 20,000 daily listeners to 40,000 ones since the iPhone 3G was introduced. Pandora had 15 million users prior to the iPhone relaunch and managed to add 400,000 new users in the initial 10 days of the app’s launch. Pandora is an Internet radio station and song recommendation service that plays music suited to your musical tastes, based on the songs that you like. Pandora was founded in 2000 and the service is currently free on the iPhone. Pandora has regularly been among the top 15 programs at Apple’s App Store, since its July launch.
